HENRI GIRAUD Dame Jane Rosé é.n. (0,75 L) száraz

It is a champagne wine made from the Pinot Noir grape variety planted in the Aÿ vineyard, classified as a Grand Cru, from various south-facing plots.

It is an atypical Cuvée with a vinification in French oak barrels from the Argonne forest in the Vosges and followed by a few months of maturation before bottling and lathing in cellars in "Dame-Jane", a terracotta jar.

The Dame-Jeanne was a container used by the merchants of the Persian city of Damghan (francisé en Dame-Jeanne) located on the Silk Road.

This container was used until the Middle Ages in Europe (then replaced by the barrel) to transport wines originating from Mesopotamia, the cradle of the vine between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

The robe is a beautiful bright pink.

The nose is full of red fruit flavors: Burlat, Reverchon, merise or guigne, as many flavors that we find in the mouth in an explosion of red fruits.

To be served at about 10 to 12 °C.

It is a wine with an enormous power of ageing around 10 years that we will drink with pleasure throughout a meal with gambas grilled a la plancha, flambéed with Cognac, on grilled fish, or even meats such as beef filet or flambéed veal kidneys.
