Bastioni is a special blend made from 80% Sangiovese, 18% Merlot, and 2% Malvasia Nera grapes. The grapes are grown in the San Casciano area of the Chianti Classico region, on stone-rich, well-drained soils, coming from a 7-hectare vineyard classified as D.O.C.G. After the manual harvest, the must ferments in temperature-controlled tanks, ensuring precise control throughout the fermentation process.

The wine is aged for 12 months in barrique barrels, which lend it refined elegance and complex character. In the glass, the deep-colored Bastioni offers aromas dominated by fresh red fruits and ripe cherry, while on the palate it presents thick, ripe tannins that provide a rich and layered tasting experience. This wine has a distinctive personality that reflects its careful production.
