The Domaine Berthenet Tête de Cuvée Montagny is an elegant Burgundy white wine made exclusively from Chardonnay, representing more than four centuries of the family estate’s heritage. Working in Montagny-les-Buxy, François Berthenet cultivates 18 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards with great care, harvesting the grapes at optimal ripeness. The fruit is gently pressed, the must is cold-settled, and the wine is fully fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and purity of fruit. The result is a brilliantly clean, dry Montagny, where exotic pineapple and citrus aromas intermingle with rich peach and white stone fruit notes. On the palate, it shows lively, crisp acidity, refined minerality, and a crystal-clear structure — a truly modern-style Burgundy that is fresh, vibrant, and elegantly complex.
