Mészáros Bodzási Kékfrankos 2016 (0,75 L)

The Kékfrankos is an indigenous species in the Carpathian Basin, with all the necessary qualities to become a well-known wine type around the globe. The healthy and ripe grapes come from the hills embracing the city of Szekszárd, and are picked from vines with 1.5 kg load, pre-selected by green harvest (limited crop levels). The grapes are gently processed, which means the mesh is slightly macerated, and, as a result, strong tannins are not extracted, and our wine will be velvety and easily drinkable, subsequently aged in oak barrels. The unique flavours and fragrances of the territory are dominant in this Kékfrankos.

This wine is characterized by a nice equilibrium of acids and inherent flavours, while ageing in the wooden barrel discreetly remains in the background. A long-tasting, serious and, at the same time, easily drinkable wine. Due to its spiciness, it is a perfect accompaniment to all sorts of food. Recommended serving temperature: 16-18 ºC
