Guy Saget Pouilly Fumé 2022 (0,75 L)

The Pouilly Fumé by Guy Saget is a wonderful, grape varietal white wine from the French Loire Centre region.

In the glass, this wine shimmers in a clear straw yellow with golden highlights. The intense bouquet is determined by strong aromas of blackcurrants and juicy white peach. The fruity notes of the nose are also reflected on the palate. Thanks to its storage on the fine yeast, this French white wine acquires a wonderful creamy character. The finale convinces with a nice length.

Vinification

The grapes for this white wine grow on the right bank of the Loire. After harvesting the grapes, they are destemmed and pressed in the wine cellar. A 24-hour sedimentation time is used to clarify the must. The must is then fermented in stainless steel tanks in a temperature-controlled manner. Finally, this wine matures for a total of 5 months on the fine yeast.

This dry white wine from France goes perfectly with light fish and seafood dishes, fried chicken breast with crunchy vegetables or with goat cheese.
