Billecart-Salmon Vintage 2009 75cl Champagne is an intense, seductive Vintage with an extra brut dosage and dominance from the Grand Crus Pinot Noir grapes and elegant background notes from the Chardonnay. This Champagne offers subtle yet rich flavours and has excellent ageing potential.
On the nose, this wine is fruity and intense with citrus notes and hints of flaked almonds. The palate is taut and seductive with white-fleshed fruit notes and biscuity hints. The finish is persistent and structured.
Although this particular champagne can be drunk on any occasion, it is best paired well with exceptional fish dishes, shell fish, the finest hams and risotto.
