The batch was aged in French, American, and Hungarian "medium" toast barrels. The 12-month aging, carried out partly in 225-liter and partly in 500-liter small barrels, highlighted the characteristic peppery and floral notes of Syrah, while enriching it with vanilla and dark chocolate aromas.

Before bottling, we individually tasted each sub-batch. Following strict quality sorting and blending trials, the selected quantity resulted in 2,293 bottles of Ars Poetica Syrah 2020.

This wine is not a robust, jammy New World Shiraz, but rather represents the Syrah style of the Rhône Valley.
