Orange wine. Its crystal clear deep golden color immediately reveals this. As a result of 14 days of skin contact and natural overripening, at first glance, we know something special has entered our glass. High viscosity and ripe fruits, dried apricot, and linden honey greet us as we inhale. Tasting it, it immediately becomes apparent that the healthy and naturally overripe berries have not resulted in a bone-dry wine.
Tasting it, it immediately becomes apparent that the healthy and naturally overripe berries have not resulted in a bone-dry wine. Alongside the moderate but elegant acidity, we encounter the beautiful succession of Hárslevelű's characteristic flavors: yellow apple, pear compote, and dried apricot. These are accompanied by an array of honey, roasted seeds, and dried flowers. The long-lingering finish worthily represents BOCK quality, leaving behind a gentle orange oil and silky orange peel bitterness. It pairs excellently with piquant Pad Thai. We recommend serving it at 12-14 degrees Celsius from a wider-bowled glass.
