The prestige Champagne of the House of Bollinger, from the wonderful 2008 vintage!

A blend of 71% Pinot Noir and 29% Chardonnay, from 18 cru areas: the Pinot Noir mainly came from Aÿ and Verzenay, and the Chardonnay from Cramant and Oger – 91% Grand Cru and 9% Premier Cru. The base wines fermented and aged in oak barrels.

Golden yellow hues indicate barrel aging. The aroma is dominated by fresh almond, toasted and roasted nutty notes, with ripe fruits like peach and mango in the background, complemented by candied citrus. The taste is refreshing yet full-bodied and complex, with subtle honey notes, and the candied lemon notes lend a delicate bitterness to this wonderful drink.
