We prepare our dried fruits ourselves using a belt dryer; with the help of appropriate pitting and slicing machines, after careful preparation, we produce the dried fruits necessary for the fruit bed. During bottling, the dried fruits are placed in the bottle and filled with brandy of the same type. Then, it is aged for three months. During aging, the dried fruit regains its original shape and gives a pleasant color to the brandy. The "fruit bed" makes the brandy aesthetically more attractive and further enriches its nutritional value. Our credo is that only the best quality brandies should be aged on a fruit bed, and following this principle, we place great emphasis on sourcing excellent raw materials and constantly monitoring the brandy distillation processes.
Our distillery's first breakthrough success occurred in Gyula in 2007, when the Bolyhos "ágyas" (fruit-bedded) sour cherry brandy became the best brandy in the country, and we won the title of Most Successful Commercial Distillery.
The 0.5-liter packaging of the platinum product family is also deservedly popular and can be found in countless places. Many companies choose it as a corporate gift, opting for our engravable wooden holders or cylindrical boxes to accompany the product.
Its aroma is fresh, floral, adequately compote-like and bonbon-sour cherry, carrying beautiful characteristics in its scent. A marzipan-like stone fruit character appears in its taste. All this in an elegant platinum bottle.
