The name Las Pizarras – meaning "the slates" – was not chosen by chance. When the project was launched, the goal was to showcase the outstanding potential of the Aconcagua Valley through classic, terroir-specific wines.

Years of research bore fruit, and blocks with slate soil were successfully planted. Thanks to the Grand Cru philosophy, only grapes from the finest vineyards are used in the wine.

After manual harvesting, the wine was fermented exclusively with natural yeasts. It spent 13 months in French barrels.

It has a clear cherry red color. Its aroma features raspberry, rosehip, with a subtle spiciness. It has a truly complex, well-structured taste, with elegant tannins and a long finish.
