Color: intense ruby red with amaranth reflections.
Hedonis expresses an extremely broad aromatic profile, with notes of dried red fruits (plum, cherry and raspberry), mustard and sweet spices, vanilla, almond and tobacco notes from barrel aging.

In terms of taste, it is powerful but velvety in structure, viscous and juicy, with soft and sweet tannins.

Food pairing: Best expressed with all rich and spicy sauces, roasted and grilled fish, and medium-fat red meat dishes, such as those of the Sicilian tradition: "aggrassato" lamb, roasted Nebrodi black pig, goat stew. Also recommended with typical Sicilian cheeses such as Piacentino Ennese, Ragusano DOP, Maiorchino, Montalbano puff pastries, and generally with all very ripe hard and semi-hard cheeses.
