It is made from grapes sourced from the best areas of Northern California (North Coast). The family pays special attention to sustainable viticulture. Founder Donald Hess's motto is "Nurture the land and give back what you take". Due to the climatic conditions similar to the mild Mediterranean climate and the volcanic soil, the wines produced here are explosively fruity, with pleasant acidity and balanced tannins.

Bottled after 18 months of aging in French and American oak barrels (27% new barrels). Its aroma reveals vibrant notes of cherry and blackberry. The rich, full-bodied palate is dominated by dark fruit, with notes of blackberry and plum. It finishes with a round, long aftertaste.
