DRY WHITE TOKAJI PROTECTED DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN WINE - TOKAJI FURMINT 2019 T8/7575 HOLDVÖLGY

Inspired varietal and parcel selection from the Holdvölgy vineyard, which we have crafted for the fourth time. The aroma bursts with fresh quince, passion fruit, and clove, followed by salty-mineral notes. On the palate, fresh, crisp pear dominates, made even more exciting by gooseberry, passion fruit, and a hint of vanilla, with an endless finish. The unique and creative face of dry Tokaji Furmint.

Vintage January brought frost, while February greeted us with a sudden thaw. The arid
March was moderated by late spring rains, but persistent winds and an "overpopulation" of insects placed an even greater burden on us. Thanks to plant protection, the grapes developed beautifully in the summer, and the harvest began in September. The warm early autumn days and strong winds complicated the collection of quality raw materials, but after 18 harvest days, we were able to conclude another 100% dry harvest.
