The Lamborghini V Spumante Brut Pinot Chardonnay Gold Italian sparkling wine is made from selected reserve wines from Lamborghini's vast selection, and boasts a perfect balance of strength, aromatic intensity, freshness, and silkiness. It is a dry sparkling wine with a delicate, pale yellow color, and fine, persistent bubbles. Its aroma is delicate and fruity, and its taste is soft, balanced, and velvety.
Origin The Lamborghini estate is situated between the southern shore of Lake Trasimeno and the beautiful medieval village of Panicale, on the border of Umbria and Tuscany – Cortona and the Chiana Valley are only a few kilometers from the estate. The estate was purchased in the 1960s by Ferruccio Lamborghini, who fell in love with the soft, rolling landscape while traveling in the area. The soil of the cultivated area is clay and limestone, which is excellent for viticulture, as it provides good drainage and adequate mineral content. The climate is Mediterranean, with hot summers and mild winters, which is ideal for ripening grapes, as the long, warm season allows the grapes to ripen perfectly, preserving their natural acidity and aromas.
Processing Lamborghini sparkling wines are produced using the Martinotti-Charmat method. The base wines are made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes, which are harvested by hand and gently pressed. The resulting must is then fermented in steel tanks, and the base wines are blended. The cuvée is then bottled, and yeast and sugar are added to initiate the second fermentation, which lasts for 12-24 months. The bottles are gradually turned upside down and rotated to collect the sediment (lees) in the neck of the bottle. After fermentation, the bottles are disgorged, meaning the sediment is removed, and then a small amount of a mixture of wine and sugar (dosage) is added to the bottles.
