One of our most unique wines from the land of the witness hills. Four volcanic witness hills, each with its own personality, yet all originating from the same cradle. We blended the Olaszrizlings from Badacsony, Gulács, Csobánc, and Köves-hegy to allow the areas to bring out the best in each other – and in the final result. The outcome is a truly pure, varietally characteristic Olaszrizling. Its aroma boasts abundant fruitiness, a hint of mint, citrus, and a saline, basaltic character. A perfect harmony of acids and minerality. A modern classic from the Balaton-uplands.

If the Balaton region had to be described by a grape variety, it would undoubtedly be the versatile and multi-faceted Olaszrizling. This variety is neither Italian nor a Riesling, and it's not even related to Rheinriesling. Its exact origin is shrouded in mystery – what is certain is that it arrived in the Carpathian Basin from Western Europe and truly found its place here: both the temperature, the soil, and the slopes are favorable to it. In Hungary, it is one of the most common white wines, perhaps precisely because of its easy manageability and diversity. It is suitable for making both light white wines and full-bodied, long-aging bottles. Not to mention: it's also excellent as a spritzer in summer!
