The Merotto family is a family winery. They have owned vineyards since the late 18th century, but Graziano Merotto, who is still alive today, only started producing wine and sparkling wine in 1972. The Founder has incredibly good senses, capable of magnifying tiny quality nuances and illustrating them clearly. Purity is paramount for him, specifically the purity of his wines; he wanted to break away from the stigma of "vomit-flavored" prosecco. He has 8 different products, each with a truly individual character. The winery's headquarters are located in Col San Martino, essentially in the middle of the strictly defined (i.e., not Treviso) prosecco DOCG protected origin area, between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. This is interesting because they process grapes from both sides of the protected area, only their own, 85% Glera and 15% other, Perera, Bianchetta, Verdiso. This roughly characterizes the composition of the wines as well.

It is characterized by tiny bubbles, refined acidity, fruits, a little minerality, fullness, and a long, green almond-like aftertaste. Perfect harmony for any occasion.
