Monte Rossa Franciacorta P.R. Brut Blanc de Blancs Italian sparkling wine is the result of a passionate search for harmony and elegance, combining the breadth, structure and complexity of reserve wine (35%) with the convincing power and finesse characteristic of Chardonnay (65%) from the best crus. This Franciacorta was created to celebrate Monte Rossa's 35th anniversary. Its name is a tribute to the company's founders, whose names begin with the same initials: Paola Rovetta, a pioneer of Franciacorta since the 1970s, and her husband, Paolo Rabotti, founder and first president of the Consorzio Franciacorta.

The growing area is located in the morainic hills south of Lake Iseo, on the southern side of the mountain range towards the Po plain, near Brescia. It is a subalpine area, meaning it is located at an altitude of 500-1000 meters. The vineyards are located in the vicinity of passes rich in air currents created by heat exchange between the plain and Lake Iseo.

The sparkling wine is made using the traditional method, also known as méthode champenoise. It is made from hand-harvested Chardonnay grapes. After gentle pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks, followed by secondary fermentation in the bottle. The wine then ages on the lees for at least 24 months, resulting in a refined and elegant sparkling wine with fine bubbles and lively acidity.
