The wines of the Pertinace winery are part of the purest Piedmontese wine tradition.
Varieties and winemaking: Made from Nebbiolo grapes grown using the Guyot system, from the vineyards of Barolo La Morra. Winemaking: 40-60 days in stainless steel tanks with submerged caps. Temperature-controlled.
Aging: 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
Yield per hectare: 50.00 Hl
Sensory characteristics: Delicate, velvety, with light tannins and a long finish. Garnet red with orange hues. Intense and long finish, with notes of wild berries, spices, and licorice.
FOOD PAIRING: Recommended with game and red meats, or even aged cheeses.
