Rich and intense aroma with orange and spicy notes. A very delicate and elegant wine whose richness is balanced by perfect acidity. Full-bodied taste, with pleasant spicy notes and peach returning. The summer was hot, so we started picking aszú berries at the beginning of September and continued this during the ideal autumn weather. October in particular provided three textbook-perfect weeks, which were ideal for the development of high-quality aszú berries: early morning fog, afternoon sunshine and wind.
The outstanding quality aszú berries were soaked in fermenting must for two days. After pressing and fermentation, the aszú wine was aged in our traditional cellar in 300 and 500 liter oak barrels from Zemplén for over 2 years.
This was followed by the final blending in the spring of 2020. It is an excellent accompaniment to fruit-based desserts and hard cheeses, but we also recommend it on its own, instead of dessert. Recommended serving temperature: 11-13 °C.
