Our Betsek Hárslevelű is a decisive and elegant wine with a volcanic structure, pleasant fruity and oak aging notes. The fresh, spicy, and peach flavors are paired with crisp acidity, followed by a long, mineral finish.

The vintage started excellently, but rain during flowering significantly reduced the quantity. The summer was warm – especially in August – with above-average rainfall, and September was largely dry, making the end of the month ideal for harvesting.

The batches fermented in 300-liter new and used Zemplén oak barrels, followed by 11 months of barrel aging. The vintage yielded classic, structured, high-acid, medium-bodied wines with significant aging potential.

We recommend it with white meats, but it can also be excellent with veal and some pork dishes. We suggest serving it at 11-13°C.
