Excellent quality Furmint aszú berries, harvested from Royal Tokaji's exclusively owned vineyards, with good structure and perfect botrytis, were macerated in fermenting Furmint must for two days. After pressing, the wine was transferred to three 300-liter used Hungarian oak barrels and aged for 23 months in Royal Tokaji's extensive, deep underground cellars. The final blend was made in early spring 2016, and bottling took place in May.
Enjoyable when young, or can be aged further in the bottle for later consumption as the wine continues to develop. Ideal when sipped on its own as an aperitif, paired with fruit-based desserts or hard cheeses, or even enjoyed on its own as a dessert alternative, this delectable wine is truly versatile.
