A Bordeaux variety with a deep, crimson color. It opens with captivating aromas of raspberry, cherry, and blue violet. On the palate, red berries and pink peppercorn are noticeable first, followed by the characteristic taste of tobacco leaf and a hint of earthiness. A long, rich sip, with a touch of alcoholic sweetness at the end and a long finish.
It pairs excellently with grilled Norwegian salmon with tomatoes, roasted vegetables, zucchini, stuffed peppers, duck, and roasted pork. For cheeses, we recommend mildly aged goat cheese and blue cheeses.
