We can imagine calf's liver alongside a lighter-toned Merlot. Among poultry, pheasant and partridge, served with a bacon ragout, can be paired with it. Hamburger, surprisingly, also fits well! Pasta with meat sauce, meatloaf, goulash soup, grilled lamb, and roasted veal are also excellent choices to accompany it.
