Pale, medium ruby color, a unique varietal. Its spice profile is peppery and characterful, velvety and silky. Medium body and alcohol, with a harmonious balance on the palate. Pepper, cardamom, eucalyptus, beautiful barrel spices. Long finish, full of depth.
Recommended with BBQ spare ribs grilled to a nice red, Peking duck, chili dishes, and goose burgers. With cheeses, it's an excellent companion to Parmesan and Gorgonzola.
