Schloss Vollrads winery has been producing only Riesling wine for over 800 years. This centuries-old experience allows them to fully showcase the characteristics of Rheingau Riesling and present the faces of the terroir in their various wines.

Dr. Rowald Hepp, head winemaker, and his team demonstrate why German Riesling is world-famous with this wine from a grand cru site. Grapes from the south-facing, sloping vineyard directly next to the winery were fermented slowly in stainless steel tanks and large oak vats (1200 liters). Before bottling, the wine was aged on its lees with bâtonnage.
