The flagship wine of the cellar. It already shows its lion's claws in its youth. The richness of its aroma is hard to unravel. Punch, bourbon vanilla, cloves, cinnamon, cognac barrel, plum jam, blueberry syrup, wild raspberry concentrate. Its taste is characterized by similar concentration and density. It is still very young, but it is already clear how much potential the bottle holds. Primarily, the slightly pronounced tannin still needs time.

What is the difference between the well-known The Union and The Grand Union, made to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of our namesake, Károly Zágonyi? Well, the varietal composition is the same, but here we made our wine by adhering to stricter yield restrictions, harvesting only 50 quintals per hectare. This resulted in a much more concentrated raw material, which we aged for 14 months in French (80%) and Hungarian (20%) oak barrels. The final blend was selected from the best barrels.
