After a generally warm and dry decade, the vintage brought moderate and balanced weather to Hegyalja. The winery's "estate furmint" is selected from the most important Szepsy vineyards, from vines aged 20 to 60 years. It was predominantly fermented in barrels, spontaneously, and then aged for 6 months. The crisp palate is rounded off by 5 g/l residual sugar. A slowly opening, cool aroma with pear, mint, citrus, and a serious structure when tasted, with long aging potential.
