One of the most famous and serious vineyards with excellent soil conditions in the eastern part of Mád. Due to post-volcanic activity, the soil is extremely varied, containing red clay, weathered zeolite, hard rhyolite, and tuff. This Furmint perfectly conveys the unique characteristics of the mere 0.98-hectare parcel 46 – salty, stony, vibrantly mineral. The wine fermented spontaneously in barrels with its own yeast, as usual, followed by 8 months of aging in 300-liter first-fill oak barrels.
