The year 2009 saw a very dry, rain-free autumn, which contributed positively to the birth of this full-bodied red wine. Following the traditions of Vili Papa cuvée, the 2009 vintage is also characterized by an exceptionally rich content. It is an extremely dark ruby-colored, fruity, spicy wine with round tannins, full-bodied, and outstanding, with a so-called "extract sweetness" due to its high extract content! The heavily reduced yield, the ideal characteristics of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grape varieties, the aging in new barrique barrels, and the outstanding vintage create a unique harmony. It justly deserves the title of both its namesake and the winery's prestige wine.
It is a perfect accompaniment to game and beef dishes, but it also offers a true experience when enjoyed on its own, served at 18-20°C.
