Ramon Bilbao Mirto 2016 (0,75 L)

The Mirto - Rioja DOCa by Bodegas Ramón Bilbao appears in the glass in an intense ruby red and unfolds an intense bouquet with the aromas of black and red fruits, especially cherries. These notes are accompanied by spicy notes such as pepper, roasted coffee, tobacco and dark chocolate. A hint of eucalyptus and mint are noticeable.

This balanced red wine from Spain, Rioja, delights on the palate with the ripe and sweet tannins, fresh acidity and the perfectly integrated alcohol. The long finish reflects the aromas of black fruits and wood.

This red wine is 100% vinified from Tempranillo.

After fermentation, the malolactic fermentation takes place in the same barrels without refilling the wine, only the yeast is skimmed regularly. The Mirto-Rioja remains in French oak barrels for 19 months before being bottled without clarification or filtration.
