Streit-Zagonyi Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 (0,75 L)

The appearance alone is prestigious, as it has a serious texture and the colour is deeper in tone than the usual Hungarian roses, more of a deep onion-skin shade. On the nose, the classic red berry fruit is joined by ripe peach and some Williams pear, moving it away from the more monotonous average rosé. The palate opens with lively acidity, a refreshing sensation that carries through the sip. A fuller palate, a wineier experience. Sparkling finish. And for those interested in the details: The grapes were harvested specifically for rosé, meaning they were picked before full ripeness. After crushing and berrying, with brief skin contact, pressing was followed by juice separation.
