Thummerer Vili Papa Cuvée 2021 (0,75 L)

The year 2009 had a specially dry, rainless fall, which automatically helped to make this big-bodied red wine. It’s following the Vili Papa cuvée’s traditions, but in an even better way. The extreme dark ruby color comes with fruity and spicy aromas, rounded tannins, and full taste. Thanks to the highly retained production and the new barrique barrel fermentation, this Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot cuvée creates a perfect consistency. It deserves to be the “leader-wine” of the winery.
Best paired with smoked beef and great proud flesh-based dishes, or on its own, served at 18-20°C.
