Vylyan Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 (0,75 L)

Cabernet Sauvignon is a world traveller with experience and knowledge. Sometimes it comes into fashion,then it is forgotten,but Sauvignon does not seem to care. Vylyan wines are famous for their complex,fine-tuned and ethereal elegance,as well as a lively and refreshing sip. The exciting bouquet is full of dark floral notes and hints of ripe blackthorn. Although it is red wine,the intensive fruitiness makes the aroma almost sweet with notes of plum and a hint of smoky prune jam,followed by lots of chocolate and some tartness. The sip feels elegant and lengthy, suitable for long maturation

From the outset we believe wine and art belong together. We asked seven contemporary Hungarian writers and poets to draw inspiration from the premium wines of Vylyan Winery. From the essence of poems and short stories the creating hand conjured up artistic drawings, and we now present the result to the world on the Vylyan bottles. The drawings reflect the soul of the wines on paper, as the artists see them.

Pairs well with roast beef, paprika stewand other meat-rich dishes.

Vintage: 2016

Vegetation started early in2016,after an early spring the first frost also bitearly. We were lucky to avoid frost, blizzards and then had a pleasantly warm summer without major temperature variations, adequate volume of precipitation, ensuring that grapes can develop steadily. The harvest began when school starts,on 1st of September,and we had above-the-average“summer-like”weather for the whole months.  As the saying of French winemakers goes:summer provided quantity and the wonderful September provided quality. We harvested healthy grapes with fineacidity and sugar content. Maturation was slow and steady,favouring the perfection of zesty aromas.
