Colore is the highest expression of Bibi Graetz dream, from very old vineyards of Sangiovese. Poor soils mixed with sand and stone and high altitude create the perfect terroir for a wine that tells a lot about Tuscany and its ancient taste. Only the best few barrels of the whole production will become Colore.

Balocchi di Colore N°1 comes from the oldest Sangiovese vines of Vincigliata vineyard, grapes which have been always used as a component of the Colore blend due to their bright acidity and balsamic notes. With the Balocchi di Colore N°1 Bibi likes to play with showing the character of the single vineyard of Vincigliata expressed through the Sangiovese grape in these games of Colore’s components. The wine delivers aromas of small red fruits and eucalyptus with a brilliant red colour and delicate, silky tannins.

The Colorino of Balocchi di Colore N°3 has an intense colour, velvety and soft tannins which embrace your mouth. It is a very big wine with a lot of structure, its power and intensity are dominant. It is the component that gave the strong character to the first vintage of Colore in 2000.

Canaiolo has been part of the timeless Tuscan vineyards for centuries, providing colour, acidity, and drinkability to the Chianti wines. Balocchi di Colore N°8 is a 100% Canaiolo wine, it has a unique character full of red fruits, acidity and very intense hints of red pepper. The terroir of parcel N°8 brings an impressive freshness to both Colore 2020 and the Canaiolo of Balocchi di Colore N°8. Olmo has an extreme importance as it represents the future of Bibi Graetz project which is more and more in the direction of elegancy.
