Collazzi 2022 – Toscana I.G.T.

This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Cabernet Franc (25%), Merlot (20%), and Petit Verdot (5%), with each variety harvested and vinified separately.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by an 18-day maceration on the skins. The wine is then aged in barrique barrels—50% new and 50% second-use—for 18 months in the estate’s cellar at a constant 15 °C. This is followed by an additional 12 months of bottle aging before release.

Deep ruby red in color, the nose reveals ripe fruit, delicate spiciness, and elegant oak notes. On the palate, it is silky, rich, and precisely structured, with a long and compelling finish. A refined and age-worthy wine, worthy of its role as the estate’s flagship label.
