The powerful Lucente Toscana by Tenuta Luce glides into the glass with dense crimson. If you pan the glass, this red wine reveals a high density and abundance, which is evident in church windows at the edge of the glass. The first nose of Lucente Tuscany shows of black cherries, shadow morals and plums. The fruity notes of the bouquet are accompanied by walnut, the largest hazelnut and roasted almond.

This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine that stands out clearly from simpler qualities and so this Italian naturally enchants with the finest balance in all dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require much sugar. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully fleshy and dense. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Lucente Tuscany flatters with pleasant mouthfeel without letting it miss freshness at the same time. The finale of this well ripened red wine from the wine-growing region of Tuscany finally captivates with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of sandstone dominated soils.

Vinification

This powerful red wine from Italy is vinified from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese grape varieties. In Tuscany, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on sandstone soils. After harvesting, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation.

Food recommendation

This red wine from Italy should best be enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It goes perfectly with Ossobuco as an accompanying wine, fried veal liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce or lamb ragout with chickpeas and dried figs.
