The Anna de Codorníu Brut Rosé from Codorníu is perfect for all connoisseurs who like it dry. However, it is never dry or brittle, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this light-footed sparkling wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Due to its lively fruit acid, the Anna de Codorníu Brut Rosé presents itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this Cava from the wine-growing region of Catalonia, more precisely from Penedès DO, finally delights with a good reverberation.

Vinification

The basis for the elegant Anna de Codorníu Brut Rosé from Catalonia are grapes from the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varieties. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. The fermentation of the base wines follows. After the composition of the final Cava follows the further development on the basis of the classical bottle fermentation. This is followed by bottle ageing for 12 months.

Food recommendation

This Spanish sparkling wine is best enjoyed very well chilled at 5 - 7°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to vegetable stew with pesto, potato pan with salmon or pumpkin casserole.
